We are delighted to welcome you in the second edition of Winter ELSA Law School Tbilisi on International Migration and Refugee Law!

As a result of armed conflicts, political crisis and threat of persecution, there are millions of  forcibly displaced people worldwide. Main strategic directions in the area and solutions for migrants, refugees, internally displaced and stateless people will be therefore topics discussed during the academic programme of our Winter ELSA Law School. Additionally, during the academic program you will have a chance to acknowledge the challenges and opportunities that characterise forced displacement and migration in today’s complex global environment.

The Second edition of Winter ELSA Law School Tbilisi on International Migration and Refugee Law will be dedicated to Levan Aleksidze (5 July 1926 – 1 August 2019), Corresponding Member of the Academy Sciences of Georgia, Doctor of Jurisprudence, Senior Officer at the Department of Human Rights of the United Nations Secretariat.
